Fly Inc. フライ
大西健俊氏が率いる食と旅にまつわる編集会社Fly inc.のオフィス。
本格的なバーと撮影スタジオを併設し、イベントスペースとしても使用される。コンクリート造と木造が混ざり幾重にも増改築されてきた建物を改装した。既存躯体のもつ複雑性をいかし、蟻の巣のように凸凹としたひとつづきの空間をつくった。表面はすべて無垢のマホガニー材で仕上げた。
The office of Fly Inc., an editorial company specializing in food and travel led by Mr. Takeshi Onishi.
It incorporates a full-fledged bar and photography studio, also serving as an event space. The building, a mix of concrete and wood structures that had undergone multiple renovations and additions over time, was refurbished. Leveraging the inherent complexity of the existing framework, a continuous space was created, irregular and honeycomb-like. All surfaces are finished with solid mahogany wood.
